To play with your friends in co-op, you should start the game in “Multiplayer” mode.
If you want to invite a friend in-game:
Go to Main Menu → [Play with Friends] → [Friend Code], then enter your friend’s code to add them.
If your friend wants to invite you:
Go to Main Menu → [Play with Friends] → [Generate Code], copy your generated code, and send it to your friend.
