No — to play together, everyone in the session needs to be on the same branch. Because the Experimental branch runs a different (newer) version of the game than the default, Experimental and default players can't join the same multiplayer session. If you want to play with friends, make sure you're all on the same branch — either all on Experimental or all on Default.
