If you're having trouble starting your game on Steam, please try the following troubleshooting steps in order:

1. Verify Integrity of Game Files
The most common cause of launch issues is missing or corrupted game files.

How to: Go to your Steam [Library] → Right-click the game → Select [Properties] → [Installed Files] → Click [Verify integrity of game files].

Result: Steam will automatically detect and replace any damaged files.

2. Run as Administrator & Compatibility Mode
Windows security settings may sometimes block a game from launching.

How to: Right-click the game in Steam → [Manage] → [Browse local files]. Find the game's .exe file, right-click it → [Properties] → [Compatibility] tab → Check 'Run this program as an administrator' and click OK.

3. Update Graphics Drivers & Windows
Ensure your system is up to date to support the latest game features.

How to: * GPU: Update to the latest drivers via NVIDIA (GeForce Experience) or AMD (Adrenalin) software.

Windows: Go to [Settings] → [Update & Security] → [Check for updates].

4. Clear Steam Download Cache
Old or corrupted configuration data in the Steam client can prevent games from starting.

How to: Open the [Steam] menu (top left) → [Settings] → [Downloads] → Click [Clear Cache].

Note: You will be logged out of Steam and will need to sign in again.

5. Disable Background Software & Antivirus
Third-party software (like Discord overlays or Antivirus) can sometimes interfere with game execution.

How to: * Add the game folder to the 'Exclusions' list in your antivirus or Windows Defender.

Close background apps like MSI Afterburner or Discord before launching the game.

Still having issues? If none of the above steps work, please ensure your PC meets the Minimum System Requirements or try performing a clean reinstall of the game.
